Sony has already announced a Snapdragon 800 SoC-based Xperia Z Ultra, but the second Sony smartphone with that chipset is the one we are most looking forward to. The Honami smartphone, which is widely expected to bring back Sony’s Cyber-shot brand to mobiles, has already leaked a couple of times. The latest set of screenshots and a peek inside the build.prop of the device reveals specs that should make Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom tremble.
The build.prop reveals the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 800 and the camera has a maximum resolution of 20 megapixels (5248 x 3936). Moreover, this thing can shoot 4K videos and comes with ISO up to 12800 as well as Sony Steady Shot. The camera also gets Timeshift burst, which borrows BlackBerry Time Shift’s name and ability to pick the best image from a group of images. Sony has also created a new camera API which allows developers to create add-ons for the camera app called "Xperia camera add-ons".

Taking on Nokia’s Here service, Sony will be bringing a new app called Info-eye. This is a visual search app will give users information about the places and objects they see around them.
Sony has also made some visual changes to the UI of the phone. The launcher has received a fresh coat of paint and looks far more polished now. The app drawer comes with a side navigation drawer that lets users customise the layout of the apps. There’s a new Walkman app with Sony Unlimited integration, as well as redesigned apps for clock, photo gallery, messages, contacts, settings and calendar. Sony has also improved the Small Apps and now you can have more than one of them open on the screen.

Sony Xperia Z users can try out the new features through this XDA thread on the ports from Honami. Be warned though that this is a very early build and as such will have its share of bugs
